Texthouse words for Kylesku Hotel website
Kylesku Hotel is a beautiful award-winning Highland hotel in Sutherland, on the North Coast 500 and on the edge of the magnificent mountain landscape of Assynt.
Texthouse was thrilled to be asked to write the hotel’s website content and help to do justice to its unusual ethos of ultra-local seafood, meats and produce. Even better, Jules had the chance to visit and experience it for herself! The setting on the banks of Loch Glendhu is so dramatic, right by the old Kylesku ferry slipway. Most of the seafood is straight from the loch and local crofters provide grass-reared beef and pork. With panoramic loch views and a breakfast to die for, even a short visit helped to restore batteries.
Also on the doorstep is the National Geopark, a haven for geologists with Scotland’s most ancient rocks on spectacular view. The iconic Stac Pollaidh, Suilven and Quinag are in easy reach, and for anyone who prefers to chill out on holiday, the white sand beaches are gorgeous, and you often have them to yourself. So one thing’s for sure – it won’t be our first visit to Kylesku Hotel!
