Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards – Best Marketing Campaign
Scott & Charters were looking for something different for their new brochure. It needed longevity and had to promote the outstanding quality of Scott & Charters products to potential partners, including international knitwear designers and retailers, as well as top golf resorts. They also needed to keep costs low and were planning to reuse images from previous fashion shoots.
Their marketing partners Cohorts by Design brought in Texthouse and leading fashion photographers Aikman Smith Photography, and we all worked together on a concept to promote the artisanal, hand-finished qualities of the products, quality materials and the Scottish and Hawick heritage of the family-run company.
Photography focused on sumptuous cashmere textures and detailed hand-finishing, and Texthouse produced verbatim copy after recording audio interviews with company staff.
This beautiful brochure was hand-finished with cashmere bows to reinforce tactile qualities. The digital version (without bows!) is online here.
